Part of Send Relief’s mission to equip pastors and their churches involves empowering them to respond quickly and appropriately to cases of abuse.

Most pastors have had little or no training on pastoral care or the misuse of power in cases of abuse within the church. This lack of preparedness often leads to ministry leaders becoming passive or permissive instead of protective or intolerant.

We desire to change this narrative by helping ministry leaders learn how to respond with empathy, care and excellence when confronted with an abusive situation.
