When disaster strikes, your church or family can help communities that have endured the unimaginable. No matter how distant a disaster may seem, Send Relief has partners around the world ready to jump into action and give food, water, shelter and health care to families recovering from devastation. From major disasters like Hurricane Harvey to smaller disasters like flooding in South Asia, our ministry projects provide relief for months and even years after the disaster.
- Indonesia Earthquake – A 5.6-magnitude earthquake wreaked havoc on West Java, Indonesia on Nov. 21, 2022. The catastrophic disaster has killed over 320 people, injured over 1,000, damaged 62,000 homes and displaced more than 73,000 people. Send Relief’s local partners are on the ground meeting urgent needs by distributing food, water, hygiene items and medicine, as well as providing temporary shelter to impacted families. - Hurricane Fiona – Hurricane Fiona made landfall in Puerto Rico as a Category 1 hurricane, nearly 5 years to the day after Hurricane Maria struck the island. Torrential rainfall, flooding, power outages and mudslides wreaked havoc on residents. Send Relief volunteers are on the ground providing emergency food, water, flood clean-up and home repair to families in the hardest hit regions. Visit our page to learn more and support the response.
- Pakistan Floods – One-third of Pakistan is submerged under water due to catastrophic flooding brought on by the monsoon season. The disaster has displaced 3.1 million people and destroyed over half a million homes. Send Relief is working with local partners to respond in multiple locations across Southern Pakistan. These partners are leading emergency food distributions, providing temporary shelter and distributing medicine and hygiene items to over 6,000 of the displaced. Join us in praying for those impacted by these devastating floods, and pray for our partners as they serve. To support the response, give using the give box above.
