Serve Tour Charleston: Views from a Weekend on Mission

By Daryn Sinclair

“When we can have something catalytic like the Serve Tour that can bring churches together, bring people together, it’s exciting to see,” shared Craig Tuck, Director of Missions for the Charleston Baptist Association. “Cooperation is in our DNA.”

Serve Tour Charleston was a perfect example of how Southern Baptists at the local, city, state and national level can come together to advance the kingdom. Volunteers from the Charleston, South Carolina, area and as far away as Kentucky linked arms for a weekend of ministry at Send Relief’s fifth stop on the Serve Tour.

The goal? Simple. To bless the city of Charleston in Jesus’ name.

Check out these snapshots from some of the 35 compassion ministry projects that happened across the city!
