Taylor Field, Send Relief missionary in New York City, is all set to bring encouragement by way of care packages to hospital workers in what has been deemed the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Send Relief volunteer, Jess Medlock, is all set for the New York City ministry center’s care package outreach to local hospitals.

Send Relief volunteer, Eli Schewel, helped make the connection with two New York City hospitals as the NYC ministry center provided 210 gift bags to encourage healthcare workers.

Miranda Blalock, supervisor at the Wellstar Hospital’s Laundry Facility in Austell, Georgia, stands with a box of Send Relief care packages. “This is amazing,” Blalock said. “You just have no idea how much this means to me and my staff. It’s this kind of love that this world needs right now.” Many of the employees here make very little money, and some speak limited English. They’re considered part of the behind-the-scenes crew, but they are every bit as important and on the front lines as anyone else in the healthcare industry.
