Miranda Blalock, supervisor at the Wellstar Hospital’s Laundry Facility in Austell, Georgia, stands with a box of Send Relief care packages. “This is amazing,” Blalock said. “You just have no idea how much this means to me and my staff. It’s this kind of love that this world needs right now.” Many of the employees here make very little money, and some speak limited English. They’re considered part of the behind-the-scenes crew, but they are every bit as important and on the front lines as anyone else in the healthcare industry.
