Make a difference in the lives of hurting people in Cape Town!

In June of 2024, volunteers just like you will participate in a city-wide event by coming alongside local churches to serve their community. You will be blessing those on the frontlines of crises—including law enforcement, firemen and teachers—and public servants working in clinics, orphanages, retirement homes, libraries and government offices.

Projects will include painting, beautification projects, working with underserved youth, delivering gifts of appreciation and thank you cards, distributing meals and other acts of service. Additionally, a small group of musicians, preferably proficient in wind instruments and percussion, will be invited to take part in a band camp for at-risk teenagers in impoverished neighborhoods.

This trip is intended for adults but allows youth over 14 to participate as long as a one-to-one ratio is maintained with adults on the team.

While we provide a tentative schedule, we cannot give specific assignments until at least one-to-two months before departure. Although your team’s schedule will remain flexible, your general weekly itinerary will be as follows:

June 16: Arrival and Check-In

June 17: Orientation, Bus Tour, Prayer Walk to Table Mountain and Work Sites

June 18-21:  Community Service Projects

June 22: Sight-Seeing and Closing Celebration

June 23: Local Church Attendance, Goodbyes and Departures

Once registered, you and your team are committed to spend seven days onsite at the rate of $1,200*. All volunteers must have their applications completed, payment submitted, references returned and training completed no later than April 17.
