Let’s make a difference in the lives of hurting people in Athens!

September 2023, volunteers just like you will care for hurting communities in Athens by serving local churches and other organizations in need of assistance. Projects may include light construction, painting, landscaping, hosting sport activities, distributing meals or helping pack bags of supplies.

By partnering with Greek Baptist churches and other ministries, Send Relief is making it easy for you and your team to have a real, lasting impact in the lives of people in Athens who need practical help and lasting hope.

Once registered, you and your team are committed to spend eight days onsite at the rate of $1,320 per volunteer.* While your team’s schedule will need to remain flexible, your general week’s itinerary will be as follows:

Day 1 (Friday, September 8, 2023): Arrivals and Check-In
Day 2 (Saturday, September 9, 2023): Cultural Orientation Training and Opening Celebration
Day 3 (Sunday, September 10, 2023): Local Church Ministry
Day 4 (Monday, September 11, 2023): Community Service Projects
Day 5 (Tuesday, September 12, 2023): Community Service Projects
Day 6 (Wednesday, September 13, 2023): Community Service Projects
Day 7 (Thursday, September 14, 2023): Service Project Wrap-Up and Sightseeing
Day 8 (Friday, September 15, 2023): Sightseeing and Closing Celebration
Day 9 (Saturday, September 16, 2023): Goodbyes and Departures
