Make a difference in the lives of hurting people in Armenia!

In May of 2024, volunteers just like you will participate in an event designed to offer medical assistance and light construction renovations to Armenian communities in need.

This trip is intended for 8-9 teams of 6-8 adults, each having various skill sets. As this Serve Tour will be held in collaboration with International Mission Board healthcare strategies, multiple teams must include a licensed physician, nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant, two nurses, a physical therapist, two non-medical personnel and potentially a pharmacist and/or a medical student. At least two teams with light construction experience are also needed to conduct renovation on a sports field and construct an outdoor activity area. As there are specific skill sets needed on each team, individuals from separate church teams may be redistributed to better fit the needs on the field; however, all teams will stay at the same hotel for the entirety of the trip.

We can provide a tentative schedule but, for security purposes, we cannot give specific details or publish dates until registration forms are submitted, after which, a Send Relief team member will follow up with you. While your team’s schedule will need to remain flexible, your general weekly itinerary will be as follows:

Day 1: Arrival

Day 2: Orientation

Days 3-7: On-Site Workdays

Day 8: Rally

Day 9: Goodbyes

Once registered for this seven-day trip, a down payment of $1,425 will be requested to reserve your team’s place on Serve Tour. The trip costs will cover lodging, meals (except dinner), transportation and ministry expenses but will exclude airfare, visa and vaccination requirements, insurance, tourism activities and COVID requirements.
