Up to 80 percent of these children have at least one living parent, and almost all of them have a family member who would care for them if they had some support.
Children belong in safe, loving families, whether that’s through reunification with parents, kinship care, domestic or international adoption or foster care.
Psalm 68 tells us that God places the lonely in families.
