Provide food for refugees on Giving Tuesday.
While you’re still trying to figure out how to use all the leftovers from your Thanksgiving feast, refugees around the world are wondering where they will find their next meal.
Refugees are fleeing war, violence, persecution and other hardships. They often arrive in a new country, sometimes by foot, with few personal possessions. Make their journey easier with the gift of food.
With your help, we want to provide 1,000 food boxes for refugees on Giving Tuesday – that’s $30,000!
And, this week only, your gift of a food box will be matched by a generous Send Relief giver—two food boxes for $30!
Your gift makes a difference
In Atlanta, the Send Relief ministry center is providing food boxes to Afghan refugees full of food, drinks, and specialty items from Afghanistan – a taste of home!
In Denver, the local Send Relief ministry center is packing food boxes in partnership with local churches for refugees. As a result, many church members have formed meaningful relationships with refugee families in their community.
In Central and South Asia, Send Relief partners are helping the first wave of Afghan refugees find the lodging, meals and resources that they need to survive.
In Colombia, more than 100 Venezuelan refugees receive food every single day on their journey to a better life.
In Thailand, refugees receive two bags of cooking essentials every month, along with a gospel presentation.
And many more places both near and far!
Will you take the challenge to provide food and hope on Giving Tuesday?
