In March, Send Relief’s Denver Ministry Center experienced the impacts of compassion and generosity as we welcomed two college groups for a special service project during spring break.

Together, the students embarked on a mission to support our local partner school and refugee families in the area by organizing and hosting a pop-up event, serving as a source of encouragement for families facing hardships. This project, held at the school during pick-up time, brought together community members and refugee families in a beautiful display of unity.

At the pop-up, families were greeted with free clothes, hygiene products, and household items—all made possible through donors’ contributions. Beyond meeting immediate needs, this project helped forge genuine connections between volunteers and the families we are privileged to serve.

For students, it was more than just a service project; it was a transformative experience that allowed them to engage directly with refugee families from the school and wider community.

As we reflect on the success of this pop-up event, our project team is filled with gratitude for the ongoing support of Send Relief partners. With the help of your prayers and gifts, we are meeting tangible needs and nurturing a sense of belonging and community among those we serve.
