Crisis Response
Pray for Venezuela | A Church Video from Send Relief

On June 24, 2026, two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela, damaging homes and communities in and around Caracas and leaving families to spend the night outside as aftershocks continued. But the church was already there. For decades, the International Mission Board has served in Venezuela — making disciples and planting churches — and through trusted local partners, Send Relief is already responding with food, water, shelter, and medical care for families who’ve lost everything.

This Sunday, your congregation can be part of that response. In this short video, Jason Cox, vice president for Send Relief, shares how the local church in Venezuela is bringing hope and help to hurting neighbors — and how your church can stand with them.

Download the video and play it in your service to:

  • Pray for the injured, for families who’ve lost homes and loved ones, for rescue workers, and for pastors and churches serving on the front lines.
  • Help your people see compassion ministry in action through the local church.
  • Invite your congregation to give and learn more at SendRelief.org.

When you pray and give, you stand with Venezuelan believers as they care for their communities in the urgent days ahead.
