Feeding the Hungry in Cuba

Across Cuba, families are facing hunger and uncertainty. But local churches are opening their doors, feeding neighbors, caring for the elderly, and sharing the hope of Jesus.

When the lights go out, the church shows up.

Give Now
In communities across Cuba, daily life has become incredibly difficult.

Long and repeated power outages have disrupted nearly every part of life. Families are struggling to keep food fresh, access water, charge phones, and care for loved ones. For many parents, elderly neighbors, and vulnerable families, each day begins with the same question: How will we eat today?

And yet, in the midst of so much hardship, the local church is responding.

At one church in eastern Cuba, meals are served twice a week to families, older adults, and people with disabilities. Once a week, food is prepared and delivered to those who cannot make it to the church. That one congregation is helping feed around 250 people each week.

At another church, community members gather to charge phones, fans, and flashlights using a generator provided by Send Relief.

This is how the gospel moves forward. This is what your gifts to Send Relief make possible.
