Mail — Make checks payable to “Send Relief.” Include a memo or note if you wish to designate your gift (undesignated gifts go to greatest need). No cash accepted.

By mail — Send your check with: fund, tribute type (in memory/in honor), and the name/address of the acknowledgment recipient, to the PO Box above.

Online — Complete the giving form; on the confirmation page follow “Send a Tribute Card” directions. More card options at sendrelief.org/cards.

Use the Send Relief Donor Self Service Portal:

  1. Enter the email used for online giving and click “Get Code.”
  2. Enter the one-time code to reach your dashboard.

General Questions

No. Every dollar given to help people in need is applied to relief and development efforts.

Update mailing address in the Donor Self Service Portal and email [email protected]. To update your email, contact the Giving Team.

Mailed gifts receive a USPS receipt within ~2 weeks; online gifts receive an email receipt. Annual statements are mailed by end of January or downloadable anytime from the Donor Self Service Portal. If missing, contact the Giving Team.

Send Relief is a partnership between the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and the International Mission Board (IMB). In 2020, it expanded to include international efforts and is now the combined compassion ministry for Southern Baptists.

Send Relief Gift Catalog

Catalog items are examples of how Send Relief helps. When you “purchase” an item, you donate to that category’s fund (e.g., “10 Chickens” supports Community Development; “Tarp” supports Crisis Response).

Specific donations aren’t tracked to a single project, but you can request sample projects your gift may have funded by emailing [email protected].

Yes. Send Relief is tax-exempt under 501(c)(3); receipts are issued for each gift. Consult your tax professional for personal guidance.

Yes—accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). Send Relief is accountable to its Board of Trustees and to Southern Baptists, and publishes an annual online ministry report. For more information, please see our financial transparency page.

For private carriers (FedEx/UPS/etc.), the gift date is the charity’s date of receipt. USPS-mailed gifts can be dated/receipted based on the envelope’s postmark.

Online giving uses industry-standard encryption. Send Relief does not retain your credit card information. Recurring gift information is processed through a third party that adheres to banking-industry security standards.
