What Relief Looks Like in Venezuela

During a recent day-long medical clinic in rural Venezuela, two doctors treated 25 children and 30 adults. The internist and a pediatrician also gave out medicines and tracts. Additionally, a bed and a small sofa were given to the parents of a special-needs girl. They are very poor. The little girl had no place to lay down aside from a hammock or her parents’ bed. Medical supplies were left with a trusted partner in the town to be distributed as needed in the community.
