Baptist Friendship House

Located four blocks from historic New Orleans French Market on the northern edge of the French Quarter, Baptist Friendship House ministers to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women and children suffering from homelessness which is often a result of human-trafficking crimes in New Orleans.

Baptist Friendship House provides food, clothing, shelter and general health education. Emotional needs are met by support, counseling and helping individuals increase their self-esteem and self-confidence. Educational needs are met through literacy training, GED preparation, job readiness and by helping individuals gain life skills to better themselves. The greatest need this ministry meets is spiritual. Baptist Friendship House is committed to sharing Jesus’ love and recognizing the dignity, sacredness and worth of every individual.
