Welcome to Send Relief’s Valdosta Ministry Center

The Valdosta Ministry Center, located in the heart of Southern Georgia, is dedicated to addressing significant challenges such as generational poverty and child welfare crises. Known as the “Azalea City,” Valdosta faces a high number of foster care cases, with 1,000 children currently in the system and many facing homelessness after they exit. To combat these issues, Send Relief’s Valdosta Ministry Center collaborates with local churches to support vulnerable children and their families through free meals, education services, mentorship camps and trauma-informed training. The center aims to reduce the number of children in foster care and increase church involvement with foster and adoptive families. Additionally, the center serves the large refugee population and local neighborhoods by providing resources to parents, ESL courses, medical and dental care, food distributions and support for the homeless and impoverished.
