Overview

South Dakota’s Pine Ridge Reservation is about an hour southeast of Rapid City, and that’s where Send Relief has partnered with the Chanku Wasté (pronounced “wash-tay”) Ranch. Chanku Wasté serves the Oglala Lakota people group. Because the area has one of the highest poverty rates in the United States, Send Relief has the opportunity to help interrupt the cycle of poverty.

What We Do

The South Dakota Ministry Center serves the Pine Ridge Reservation by offering essential services and support. Through our summer camps for children and free dental care initiatives, we aim to make a positive impact on the community. Led by dedicated individuals, our center provides much-needed assistance to those facing hardships. By joining us in our mission, you can help bring hope and help to South Dakota. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in need.
