February isn’t just for Valentine’s Day—it’s also National Children’s Dental Health Month.

Strong Tower Church at Washington Park in Montgomery, Alabama, hosted the Send Relief mobile dental unit at the local YMCA last week, allowing dozens in the community to come and receive dental care.

Through the Send Relief mobile medical and dental clinics, Southern Baptists can meet the medical and dental needs of their community as they share the gospel. Each mobile clinic comes equipped to do basic healthcare tasks. Churches simply provide the volunteers to staff it.

The stop in Montgomery is one of the latest of many stops the dental unit makes through a year. But each time, the mission is the same — to provide free dental care to community residents and to open a door for the gospel to be shared.

While set up at the Washington Park (Birmingham, Alabama) YMCA in partnership with Strong Tower church, dentists and techs from Maxwell Air Force base volunteer their services.
